Is the monitoring legal and GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Sensoribus only crawls publicly accessible websites, just like any other visitor. We respect robots.txt, observe crawl delays, and do not monitor login-protected areas. Privacy features (referrer protection) prevent monitored websites from tracing your identity.
Which websites can I monitor?
Any publicly accessible website: competitor sites, news portals, government websites, e-commerce shops, marketplaces, industry publications, RSS feeds, PDF document lists. Not supported: login-protected areas, paywalls.
How does PDF monitoring work?
The Link Monitor automatically extracts text from linked PDFs on monitored pages. Ideal for government portals that publish circulars, studies or legal texts as PDFs (e.g. FCA, regulatory agencies, ministries).
What happens when no matches are found?
Sensoribus sends you a daily "no-match digest" — a summary of all jobs with no results. This confirms the system is running and actively monitoring, even when no new content was found.
Where is my data stored?
All data stays within the EU. Hosting: HostEurope VPS (Germany). PDF snapshots: MinIO storage (on-premise). PostgreSQL database. GDPR-compliant. No dependency on US cloud providers.
